Wow, its been a minute since I've been able to write a blog post! Between taking classes a few classes and the continuous adventures, finding a time to sit down and write has been a challenge.
Now we are back to our (somewhat) regularly scheduled programming.
I've been trying to take full advantage of being in Europe, especially where the Schengen laws make European travel almost as easy as traveling from state to state in the U.S.
As a matter of fact, I just got back from a solo trip in Barcelona, Spain. I've gotta say, it was an absolutely GORGEOUS city! It had extreme downtown vibes while simultaneously maintaining the Spanish atmosphere. In my honest opinion, Paris could learn a thing or two (but you didn't hear it from me).
I visited a lot of the tourist hotspots in Spain. Some of the highlights included Barceloneta Beach, La Boqueria Market, the Barcelona Design Museum, and a few spectacular public parks.
Since my last post, I've spent a lot of time planning some trips. Originally, our entire study abroad program was going to be in Jerusalem, Israel for the next week. However, there's been some extreme turmoil and safety threats in the area that is going to keep us all from going. Instead, I am headed to Budapest, Hungary for a few day which will be followed by a train ride and stay in Vienna, Austria. This is as true as you can get to the expression "when one door closes, many more open!"
Have any questions for me? Recommendations on places to visit or things to do? Comment on this post!
