Winning the Week

Week 1 is in the books!

After an incredibly busy week filled with activities scattered along the French Riviera, it was time to post about my newest adventures.

We started the week of visiting Monaco and driving on the Formula 1 Grand Prix track, which I would later go to with my classmates and walk along. Just walking down the streets of Monaco makes you feel a bit richer and a whole lot more bewildered that a place like that exists!

The next day, we visited a small town called Éze, which happens to be the town that Monaco used to send all of its gold to when invasions were a threat to the shipping hotspot. There we explored the beautiful gardens that overlooked the coast of Villefranche-Sur-Mar, one of the most gorgeous coastline beaches I've ever seen.

We happened to get a bit lost on the way back from this surreal town, but managed to eventually find our way home on a disco bus of sorts. I hope the pictures do it justice!

We have lots of trips planned for the coming weekends. I got really lucky to be a part of such a friendly and adventurous group of people, and to say we're already close is something I am so proud of!
